The Doctor
After graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry from
“Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2001, along with training in the “Dr. Dan Theodorescu” Dentistry Hospital I started working in private practice in the newly established clinic Smilemed.
In 2004 I began competency/ specialization courses in Oral Implantology and in Dental and Dental-Facial Imaging completed a year later.
Establishment of Society of Esthetic Dentistry in Romania (SSER) was followed by the first International Congress of Aesthetic Dentistry organized in Bucharest. Since 2004 I joined the board of directors of SSER as events manager, getting involved actively in organizing congresses and exhibitions starting with the 2005 edition.
It followed the accession to the European Society of Dental Aesthetics – ESCD (2005) and acceptance as fellow member in the International Academy for Dental-Facial Aesthetics – IADFE (New York – 2008).
In parallel private practice, in the period 2005 – 2010, I got involved in various scientific projects with my colleagues from SSER in publicist projects, co-founder of the prestigious magazine Quintessence International Romania and later a member of the Scientific Committee of Cosmetic Dentistry Romania as well and humanitarian campaigns, both in Romania and abroad.
The event that marked me deeply was the first humanitarian mission deployed in Western Sahara, “Morocco dental caravans 2008” organized by the Romanian-Moroccan Friendship Association.
The year 2007 marked the inauguration of the aesthetics ONE dental center Bucovina, which was meant to be from the beginning a center of excellence in dentistry, the place “where science and art create the perfect smile”. Together with the newly formed team, we developed the concept of “dentistry is an exact science, we just highlight his beauty …”.
In the summer of 2014 it opened a new clinic – aesthetics ONE Ferdinand – center dedicated to minimally invasive dentistry – aesthetic – implantology – microscopy, where has been implemented since the beginning the “less is more” concept.
Finally, I wish to thank all the colleagues and collaborators, scientific partners and partner clinics for the effort in sustaining a medical act without compromise, which gives patients the health they need.
